I am responsible (the “controller”) for the processing of personal data described in this policy.

  1. What personal data I collect and why

Contact and enquiries
If you contact me by email or through a contact form, I process your name, email address and any other information you choose to share. I use this information to answer your message, discuss potential projects and keep track of our communication. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in running and growing my business and, where relevant, taking steps before entering into a contract.

Clients and projects
If we work together, I process the information needed to prepare and perform our agreement: contact details, project information, quotes, contracts, invoices and payment information. The legal basis is that this processing is necessary for the performance of the contract and for my legal obligations (such as accounting).

Photos and video
When I photograph or film you or your event, I process images and footage of you. I use this data to deliver the agreed work and related services. I may also ask your permission to use selected images or footage in my portfolio, on my website or on social media. In that case, the legal basis is your consent or, where applicable, my legitimate interest in showcasing my work. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting me.

Website usage and cookies
When you visit my website, technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information and the pages you visit may be processed, mainly through cookies or similar technologies. I use this data to keep the website secure and functioning properly (legitimate interest). If I use analytics or other non-essential cookies, I do so only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via your browser settings and, where available, the cookie banner.

  1. How long I keep your data

I do not keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes described above. In particular:

  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

For Belgium, the supervisory authority is the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
